Enchanting Melodies from Greece and Pontus

A musical journey blending tradition and memory

LAMDA and the greatest urban regeneration project, The Ellinikon, together with the Pontian Association of Sourmena and the Municipality of Elliniko-Argyroupoli, invite the public on Wednesday, September 24th at 20:00, at Sourmena Square in Elliniko. Admission is free.

The concert “Enchanting Melodies from Greece and Pontus” brings to the stage emblematic songs from the Greek repertoire, the magic of the Pontic lyra, traditional dances, and some of the most beautiful voices.

Konstantinos and Matthaios Tsahouridis – internationally acclaimed for their unique fusion of tradition and contemporary sound – present an exceptional musical ensemble built around the Pontic lyra and the human voice.

Blending ancient and modern melodies with masterful arrangements and a carefully chosen repertoire, they promise an explosive musical experience.

At the same time, the dance group of the Pontian Association of Sourmena will take us on a journey of rhythm and passion, through images, sounds, and memories that remain alive.

At the concert, you will also enjoy Giannis Christodoulopoulos on live piano, together with the captivating voices of Zoe Papadopoulou and Giorgos Davlas, for an unforgettable evening full of music, and emotion!
