The Trachones Stream is an innovative infrastructure project, part of the strong flood protection system designed for the broader area of Elliniko. Through this project, the area is safeguarded against the consequences of climate change, which are already visible around us.

The Trachones Stream, and its riverbed, is being restored, transforming the local ecosystem and the surrounding area. Similarly, the natural flow of the Airport Stream, formerly known as Evryalis, is being restored.
