Introduction

The website “The Ellinikon” (hereinafter the “Website”) constitutes the official digital space for information and interaction with the public regarding the development of the project The Ellinikon and the individual activities hosted within or related to it. Through thematic sections, project presentations, information on residential and commercial developments, event organization options, educational visits and other activities, the Website provides users with comprehensive information about the vision, progress and experiences connected with the project. At the same time, it offers communication and expression-of-interest functionalities, facilitating direct contact between interested persons and the ones responsible for the project and related matters.

We would like to assure you that for “HELLINIKON SMSA”, the protection of Website users’ personal data is of primary importance. For this reason, we take appropriate measures to protect the personal data we process in the context of operating the Website and to ensure that such processing is always carried out in accordance with the requirements set by the applicable legal framework, both by us and by third parties processing personal data on our behalf.

By means of this Policy, the Company under the name “ELLINIKO - ETAIREIA ANAPTYXIS AXIOPOIISIS KAI DIACHEIRISIS AKINITON MITROPOLITIKOU POLOU ELLINIKOU – AGIOU KOSMA MONOPROSOPI ANONYMI ETAIREIA” and the distinctive title “HELLINIKON S.M.S.A.”, with registered offices at Maroussi of Attica 37, Kifissias Avenue (hereinafter the “Company”), acting as Data Controller, wishes to inform the Website users about the purposes and the ways of processing their personal data.

What personal data do we collect about you and how do we collect it?

Through the Website, we collect, as the case may be, the following personal data that you provide to us by completing relevant fields included on the Website (entry points such as contact forms, newsletter forms, expression-of-interest forms):

  • Basic identification data (e.g., full name, gender)
  • Contact details (e.g., email address, telephone number)
  • Demographic data (e.g., country of residence, nationality, preferred language of communication), supplementary to your identification details
  • Professional data (e.g., professional capacity/title, details of the company for which you work or on whose behalf you contact us, position in the company, business sector, professional profile details on online platforms)
  • Any personal data related to your interest in contacting us, including information regarding event organization, school visits, children’s parties, booking entry tickets to the Experience Center, booking participation in events (e.g., preferred venue within The Ellinikon, preferred date and time of visit/event/party, personal data contained in documents you attach for event organization, name of school/company on whose behalf you contact us, full name and contact details of interested/accompanying teacher, full name and contact details of parent)
  • Any personal data included in information you provide us with regarding an incident or complaint (e.g., involved persons, nature, frequency, date of incident)
  • Any other personal data included in messages/requests/complaints submitted through the Website forms
  • If you contact us through the digital assistant (AI Agent – Chatbot) regarding information about the project “The Ellinikon,” we collect the personal data you choose to share during your conversation
  • If you wish to participate in the surveys/polls we conduct on various topics related to our Company’s activities that may concern you (e.g., regarding future projects we intend to implement in cooperation with the municipalities neighboring The Ellinikon), we collect the personal data you submit by completing the questionnaire of the respective survey (e.g., full name, contact details, demographic information)

Why do we process your personal data?

The Company processes your personal data for the following purposes:

  • For the proper management of and response to any type of communication we receive through the Website’s contact / expression of interest / complaint submission forms, including communication via the digital assistant (AI Agent – Chatbot)
  • For the optimal organization, coordination, and implementation of events, visits, and children’s parties, and for the provision of the services you request, including the management of free ticket reservations for the Experience Centre and reservations for participation in events held at our premises
  • To provide any information regarding the The Ellinikon project and related activities/issues, including residential and commercial property information
  • To properly investigate and manage complaints and incidents
  • To conduct general and/or personalized promotional communications (e.g., sending newsletters)
  • For the conduct of opinion surveys (polls) and the evaluation of their results, with the aim of improving our Company’s business planning and activities in a manner that responds to the needs of the local community
  • To ensure the proper and secure operation of the Website and improve user experience
  • To comply with legal obligations arising from operation and management of the Website

What is the legal basis for processing your personal data?

a) Consent

For the purpose of promoting services and corporate activities, through the sending of informational or promotional material, the organization of events, or other communication activities, the processing of your personal data is carried out only if you have provided your explicit consent, through the specific areas on the Website and subscribe at the relevant newsletter service.

We would like to inform you, in particular, that with regard to the promotion of services and corporate activities, our Company processes your personal data that is necessary for this purpose jointly with the company "LAMDA Prime Properties S.M.S.A.", a member of the Lamda Development Group, based in Maroussi, Attica, at 37A Kifissias Avenue (hereinafter referred to as LPP).

Furthermore, we inform you that the above promotional communications, depending on your consent, may be either general or personalized, based on your preferences, interests and needs regarding the properties and services of our Company and LPP. Therefore, if you wish to receive personalized promotional communications, our Company and LPP will use the following categories of your personal data for this purpose:

  • Identification data and contact details
  • Demographic and professional data
  • Preferences and interests in existing and future properties in Greece or abroad, within The Ellinikon or outside it, as well as in our services
  • Financial and creditworthiness information
  • Any other information you wish to disclose to us either yourself or through third parties, expressing your interest in our activities in any way

We collect the above data either through our website, as described herein, or from LPP, which discloses it to us in our capacity as joint Data Controller with LPP, for the purpose of carrying out promotional activities, based on the consent you have provided us with, if you so wish. b) Protection of our legitimate interests

We process personal data to protect the Company’s legitimate interests, provided these do not override your rights. Such interests include:

  • The proper management of and response to any type of communication we receive through the communication channels available on the Website (e.g., forms, chatbot).
  • The presentation of the actions, activities, and residential and commercial developments related to The Ellinikon, and the provision of relevant information to individuals who have expressed a relevant interest.
  • The proper investigation and handling of complaints and incidents, in order to protect the reputation, activities, and rights of the Company and third parties.
  • More effective decision-making regarding our Company’s business activities and the development of our business strategy in a manner that responds to the needs of the local community, through establishing and maintaining an open channel of communication with you.
  • Ensuring the uninterrupted, smooth, and secure operation of the Website, maintaining data backups, and generally safeguarding matters of the Company’s business continuity.

We inform you that, specifically with regard to the management of and response to communications relating to the expression of interest in residential properties and commercial stores, our Company processes the personal data necessary for this purpose jointly with LPP, whose details are set out above, in order to respond to the interest you have expressed, provide the relevant information, and generally manage the related communication.

c) Provision of services / Contract

The processing of your personal data for the organization of events, visits, children’s parties, and the management of reservations (including free ticket reservations for the Experience Centre and reservations for participation in events held at our premises) is necessary for the provision of the services you request regarding the relevant space allocation and the use of our premises. In particular, your data is used to evaluate your request, plan and coordinate the event, visit, or activity, communicate with you regarding organizational matters, and ensure the proper and safe conduct of each activity.

d) Compliance with legal obligations

We are required to use your personal data where this is expressly mandated by law or in the context of our Company’s regulatory compliance with obligations arising, inter alia, from data protection and cybersecurity legislation.

Data Retention Period

The processing of your personal data is carried out for as long as necessary to fulfill the respective purpose of processing. In particular:

When processing is based on your consent, your personal data is retained until you withdraw your consent. Such withdrawal may be made at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of consent prior to its withdrawal.

When processing is carried out in the context of providing services to you (e.g., ticket reservations, allocation of event spaces), your personal data is retained for the duration of our cooperation and, following its termination, for as long as required to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims that may arise therefrom.

When processing is mandatory under applicable law, your personal data will be stored for the period provided for by the relevant provisions in force in each case.

Personal data you provide while using the Digital AI Agent service (The Ellinikon Chatbot) will be retained for eighteen (18) months.

Who has access to your personal data?

Access to your personal data may be granted, as applicable, to the following categories of third parties:

  • Companies that provide us with Website hosting and technical support services.
  • Companies that provide us with electronic platforms through which our Company manages specific Website functions (e.g., in the context of our communication regarding The Ellinikon residences, event seat reservation platforms, platforms for managing and monitoring the submission of complaints).
  • Companies that provide communication and marketing services, supporting the management and operation of the Website as well as the Company’s communication channels with Website users (newsletter, contact form).
  • Companies providing development and commercialization services for artificial intelligence solutions and applications, in the context of offering the digital assistant service (AI Agent – Chatbot).
  • Administrative, judicial, public, or independent authorities and law enforcement bodies.
  • Other companies of the Lamda Development Group with which we cooperate for the fulfillment of the above purposes. In particular, for the conduct of promotional activities and the management of and response to communications relating to expressions of interest in residential properties and commercial stores, your data is shared with LPP, in its capacity as Joint Data Controller with our Company, for the fulfillment of the aforementioned purposes. Both companies ensure compliance with personal data protection legislation, having expressly defined our respective responsibilities and obligations within the framework of the agreements governing our cooperation.

The Company has taken all necessary measures to ensure that its personnel and partners are fully bound, as appropriate, by confidentiality obligations and by obligations provided under applicable legislation regarding the collection and further processing of the above-mentioned personal data.

What are your rights regarding your personal data?

Each natural person whose personal data is processed via the Website is entitled to the following rights:

Right of Access:

You have the right to be informed and to verify the lawfulness of the processing. Therefore, you have the right to access your personal data and receive additional information regarding their processing.

Right to Rectification:

You have the right to review, correct, update or modify your personal data.

Right to Erasure:

You have the right to request the erasure of your personal data when we process them based on your consent or in order to protect our legitimate interests. In all other cases (for example, where the processing of personal data is required by law), this right is subject to specific limitations or may not apply depending on the circumstances.

Right to Restrict the Processing:

You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data in the following cases: (a) when the accuracy of the personal data is contested and until verification is completed, (b) when you oppose to the erasure of your personal data and request the restriction of their use instead, (c) when the personal data are no longer necessary for the purposes of processing, but are required by you for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims, and (d) when you object to the processing and until verification is completed as to whether there are legitimate grounds relating to us that override the grounds on which you object.

Right to Object to the Processing:

You have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data in cases where, as described above, such processing is necessary for the purposes of legitimate interests pursued by us as data controller, as well as to processing carried out for direct marketing purposes.

Right to Data Portability:

You have the right to receive, free of charge, your personal data in a format that allows you to access, use, and process them using commonly used processing tools. You also have the right to request, where technically feasible, that we trasfer your data directly to another data controller. This right applies to the data you have provided to us and where their processing is carried out by automated means based on your consent or for the performance of a contract.

Right to Withdraw Consent:

If we have obtained your consent for the processing of your personal data for specific activities, you may withdraw your consent at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link included in every communication, which allows you to deactivate the receipt of our newsletters and other promotional actions. In such a case, we will cease processing your data for the purpose for which you provided consent, unless we determine that there is an alternative legal basis that justifies continued processing for that purpose, in which case we will inform you accordingly.

If you believe your personal data is being processed in violation of the applicable legislation, you have the right to submit a complaint to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (HDPA) via its dedicated online platform (https://eservices.dpa.gr). Data Security

The Company implements appropriate technical and organizational measures aiming to ensuring the secure processing of personal data and preventing accidental loss or destruction, as well as unauthorized and/or unlawful access, use, modification, or disclosure. In any case, due to the nature of the internet and the fact that it is accessible to anyone, it is not possible to guarantee that unauthorized third parties will never be able to bypass the applied technical and organizational measures, gaining access to and potentially using personal data for unauthorized and/or unlawful purposes.

What happens with third-party websites?

The Website may contain links to websites, platforms, or electronic applications of third parties, whether within or outside the Lamda Development Group, including, indicatively, job application management platforms (Success Factors) and references to third-party websites for investor relations or corporate information purposes. These links are provided solely for the convenience of users. Such websites and platforms operate under the responsibility of their respective operators and are governed by their own terms of use and privacy policies. The Company does not exercise control over the content, operation, or data protection practices of these websites and bears no responsibility for their content, the accuracy of the information they provide, or the manner in which they process users’ personal data. The inclusion of such links does not constitute endorsement, adoption, or acceptance of the content or services of those third parties. If a user chooses to access a third-party website or platform through a link on the Website, such access and use are carried out at the user’s own responsibility and in accordance with the terms and privacy policy of the respective third party.
